We made a blackberry clafoutis with two punnet of blackberries we collected from the riverbank. The berries were soaked in salted water for an hour or two to draw out any maggots that were hiding away. Ultimately, I'd love to have a three course meal where one main ingredient in each dish was something we had caught or collected. Dessert is done. Now, for Easter, there's plans to fish and gather wild fennel. I hope you have a great holiday with lots of delicious food and good conversation around the table. In your downtime, Kinfolk Vol. 3 is out, the Spring 2012 lookbook for TBA is perfect for dreaming in the sun with its religious cult chic crossed with TBA's signature Edwardian detailing. I was just treated to the Dorothy Dress! If the weather is bad, watch Con Air (I'm serious!) and Hugo. Also, how to find your purpose and do what you love. In the end, isn't that what this is all about?
